Mari Velsand has been Director of the Norwegian Media Authority (Medietilsynet) since 2017. She has extensive management experience from the media industry, including as CEO of Amedia, CEO of Tun Media, Editor-in-Chief of Nationen and program director of NRK. She has also worked as a journalist in several mediums. Mari has a degree from the Norwegian School of Journalism and a master’s degree in management from BI.
