The Center for Investigative Journalism (SUJO) at the University of Bergen is the only one of its kind in the Nordics. SUJO's goal is to strengthen investigative journalism in Norway. Through follow-up of investigative projects and workshops in investigative methods, SUJO develop this important journalism, with special responsibility for local, regional, and smaller media.

SUJO was established in 2018 and is located in Media City Bergen, an international knowledge and industry cluster with leading media and media technology companies and the Department of Information Science and Media Studies at the University of Bergen (UiB).
